We are often asked whether for instruments with M12 x 1 connector the corresponding mating connector (also called cable socket or angular connector) is included in the scope of delivery of our pressure sensors. Our clear answer is: no. Unlike the DIN connectors forms A and C (also frequently known as “valve connector”), the M12x1 mating connector is NOT included in the standard scope of delivery of the WIKA pressure sensors. Nevertheless, we’ll be glad to supply you with the suitable mating connector for your instrument with M12x1 connector. Ideally, right away with a molded cable, as this has several benefits:
- You no longer have to assemble the small “tricky” connector yourself.
- Assembly errors are avoided.
- The ingress protection of molded cables is usually higher.
- The cable is already included in the total low-cost price.
