Neben 3- und 4-stelligen Digitalanzeigen werden auf dem Markt auch 3 1\/2-stellige Anzeigen angeboten. Aber was ist eine 1\/2 Stelle?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eine ganze Stelle kann alle Ziffern von „0“ bis „9“ darstellen. Eine 1\/2 Stelle kann dagegen nur eine „1“ anzeigen, eine „2“ oder h\u00f6here Ziffer, jedoch nicht mehr. Bei einer 3 1\/2-stelligen Digitalanzeige ist damit der anzeigbare Wertebereich im Vergleich zur 4-stelligen Anzeige deutlich eingeschr\u00e4nkt.<\/p>\n

So liegt zum einen das Maximum des anzeigbaren Wertebereichs nur bei 1999 statt bei 9999. Zum anderen k\u00f6nnen keine negative Werte dargestellt werden, da das negative Vorzeichen an der ersten Stelle nicht angezeigt werden kann. Daher liegt das Minimum des anzeigbaren Wertebereiches bei 0 statt bei -1999.<\/p>\n

Eine Ausnahme f\u00fcr die Einschr\u00e4nkung des anzeigbaren negativen Wertebereichs stellen Anzeigen dar, die eine separate Stelle f\u00fcr die Anzeige des Vorzeichens verwenden. Diese Charakteristiken des Displays einer Digitalanzeige<\/a> k\u00f6nnen dann auch Werte bis -1999 darstellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
