The combination of pressure sensor and Ex barrier must meet the \u201c<a href=\"\/knowhow\/proof-intrinsic-safety-atex-approved-pressure-sensor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Proof of intrinsic safety<\/a>\u201d in accordance with the 94\/9\/EC ATEX directive. Not all combinations of sensor and barrier from different manufacturers fulfil this condition.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, it may be that the safety or Ex characteristic values \u200b\u200bdo not match, on the other hand, the functional characteristics \u200b\u200bmust also match your application.
