Improving environmental protection, reducing costs and protecting the climate: WIKA\u2019s headquarters in Klingenberg, Germany, was once again awarded as an Ecoprofit club member in the Bavarian Lower Main region. Ecoprofit is short for \u201cEcological Project for Integrated Environmental Protection\u201d. It is a cooperation between the regional economy, administration as well as experts on specific topics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first round of Ecoprofit took place 23 years ago. Up to today, the project has seen a total of 72 participating companies and schools. Twelve of them are still actively involved in the so-called club rounds.<\/p>\n

The environmental programme Ecoprofit offers companies an environmental management approach. This approach focuses on raising awareness, practical relevance and the implementation of measures. From the very beginning, Ecoprofit has therefore proven to be an effective instrument for sustainable economic and regional development.<\/p>\n

Ecoprofit provides workshops on environmental and sustainability topics<\/h2>\n

WIKA\u2019s headquarters in Klingenberg has been part of this network for more than ten years. Through this regular exchange of ideas, the company is able to gain impulses for its own operations. There are, for instance, workshops on current environmental and sustainability topics, during which the participants discuss environmental issues together. Best practice examples are presented at the club meetings, then assessed directly in the company implementing them and subsequently discussed.<\/p>\n

The renewed recognition as a club member honours the long-standing commitment and reliable partnership that WIKA maintains with other local companies within the network. The award ceremony for the 2023\/2024 club year was presented by the mayor of Aschaffenburg, J\u00fcrgen Herzing. It took place on the premises of the company Zentec in Gro\u00dfwallstadt.<\/p>\n
