CIGRE is a global community dedicated to the creation and exchange of expertise on electrical energy systems. WIKA has earned a good reputation in the \u201cConseil International des Grands R\u00e9seaux \u00c9lectriques\u201d due to its outstanding technical expertise. This was demonstrated by the 2024 CIGRE event in Paris.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every two years, the French capital is the venue for a major exchange of expertise with both presentations and sessions, followed by an exhibition. This year, however, the conference and exhibition started at the same time on Sunday. The WIKA stand staff were overwhelmed; on the first day, delegates crowded at and around the stand until 8 p.m. What a start!<\/p>\n

WIKA was a sponsor for the first time and therefore highly visible<\/h2>\n

For the first time, WIKA sponsored the event at the \u201cPalais des Congr\u00e8s\u201d and was therefore highly visible on all days. The company logo could be found at all the coffee corners and on every escalator. In addition, a WIKA video ran on a continuous loop in the conference rooms during the breaks.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday WIKA was present with three posters in the poster session of the B3 working group (Substations and electrical installations) and, together with other companies, presented its contributions to the respective topics. The focus here was on the question of how to optimise the transfer of operational experience into plant management.<\/p>\n

Wednesday was the highlight of the event for everyone involved. All day the B3 study committee discussed the content of the presented papers, and in the afternoon guests were invited to the WIKA stand for wine and finger food. By evening, around 70 guests had accepted the invitation. Consequently, the stand team had their hands full. Even colleagues attending the conference were needed to interact with visitors.<\/p>\n

The most successful CIGRE event ever<\/h2>\n

In conclusion, the stand team was more than satisfied with the number and quality of contacts. In terms of quantity, this CIGRE event turned out to be the most successful ever for WIKA. Hopes are now centred on good post-fair business with many projects.<\/p>\n
