A quarter of a century after its foundation in July 1999, WIKA Singapore can look back on an exciting success story. The subsidiary has evolved from a trading office to a process instrumentation solution hub that is serving customers locally, within ASEAN and even within the APAC region. That is reason enough to celebrate the anniversary appropriately.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In its first years, the subsidiary primarily focused on growth and customer satisfaction. In 2013, WIKA then invested in manufacturing facilities for electronic temperature measurement products not far from Jurong Island, the hub for the refinery, petrochemical, bioscientific and pharmaceutical industry. Within ten years, they grew from manufacturing standard thermowells and sensors to manufacturing engineered solutions such as multipoint thermocouples and tubeskin sensors from WIKA-Gayesco. As of 2021, WIKA Singapore is also the APAC manufacturing hub of Gayesco.<\/p>\n

WIKA Singapore is expanding its range of services<\/h2>\n

Simultaneously, the subsidiary is expanding its range of services. Since 2015, they have a calibration laboratory for pressure, temperature and humidity in accordance with ISO 17025. A certification for calibration of electrical and dimensional measurands will follow. The growing range of services is turning WIKA Singapore more and more into a one-stop shop for customers.<\/p>\n

The success story was reflected in the celebrations<\/h2>\n

The positive development of the last 25 years was reflected in the cheerful atmosphere during the anniversary celebration. For this celebration, the subsidiary also welcomed CEO Alexander Wiegand and Steven Ong, Executive Vice President APAC. During the day, the sales team had shown the two guests of honour around on Jurong Island. The concentration of world-class refinery, petrochemical and chemical plants located there emphasises the importance of WIKA\u2019s local production capacities, which have supported the major growth in the process industry segment. At the manufacturing facility, the sales team then explained the processes. Their efficiency results in consistently reliable on-time delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n
