The WIKA trade show team and stand staff had a tight schedule to cope with this spring. The Hannover Messe 2025 (HMI) was immediately followed by Bauma. Both the world\u2019s leading trade show for industry and the world\u2019s leading trade show for construction machinery were very successful for WIKA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At last year\u2019s HMI, the trade show team sometimes complained about an empty stand. The location in hall 11 did apparently not seem attractive enough for visitors interested in measurement technology. This year\u2019s move of the WIKA stand to hall 9 created a completely different situation.<\/p>\n

Similar result to 2024, but with less staff and a smaller stand<\/h2>\n

With the same number of visitors (123,000), WIKA achieved a similar result to 2024 \u2013 but with a significantly smaller stand (photo above) and fewer staff. This year, the focus was on IIoT, and the topic was a hit. WIKA presented many applications, including the exhibits for valve monitoring and motor monitoring as highlights.<\/p>\n

Some discussions at the stand already seem to result in promising projects. For example, an industrial gases company showed interest in an IIoT solution for its gas cylinders. With an automotive supplier, initial concepts for the development of an IIoT infrastructure for a production plant were outlined. Another supplier approached WIKA with a different requirement, for which it will need more than 3,000 pressure sensors and more than 10,000 temperature sensors every year in the future.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Great interest in WIKA\u2019s contribution to the Masterclass<\/h2>\n

Another highlight was the participation in the Masterclass of the HMI. It is a practice-oriented format for innovative solutions. A total of 90 people had applied for the WIKA session on \u201cLightweight IoT-enabled sensors with edge network compute capability\u201d \u2013 more than twice the number of places available.<\/p>\n

As in 2024, the separate hydrogen stand in hall 13 once again exceeded expectations. The hydrogen product range was met with great response, and WIKA recorded 127 leads. The marketing activities before and during the trade show also contributed to the good result. In the social networks, over 1.5 million impressions of WIKA Ads were recorded.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Little time to take a breather between HMI and Bauma<\/h2>\n

Between the HMI and Bauma, the trade show team had little time to take a breather. On Friday, after the trade show had closed, parts of the stand were immediately dismantled in Hanover, transported to Munich and reassembled again there on Sunday before the start of Bauma.<\/p>\n

The number of visitors to the world\u2019s largest trade show for construction machinery has developed favourably. With over 600,000 visitors, the pre-corona level was almost reached again. This was also reflected at the stand of WIKA and WIKA Mobile Control (WMC). It has never had as many visitors. The fact that the sales pipeline at Bauma ultimately contained 431 leads was due to the commitment of the stand team but also the products presented. These included, among others, the CTL-S700 series controllers and the high-power cable reels from WMC as well as the model ILT radar sensor from WIKA.<\/p>\n\n

The combination of a dedicated stand team and the featured products, enabled WIKA and WIKA Mobile Control to generate over 400 leads at Bauma.<\/p><\/div>\n \n
