Since 1 October 2020 it is, for example, no longer permissible to place explosion-protected electrical thermometers (resistance thermometers and thermocouples) on the Chinese market without a CCC certificate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Introduced on 1 May 2002, the CCC certification system applies to imported and also to Chinese products. The import, sale and use of products requiring certification is not permitted in China without a CCC certificate. This means that products without this certification are detained at the border or returned by the Chinese authorities.<\/p>\n\n      <div class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"max-width:396px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.wika.com\/en\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/18\/files\/2020\/12\/ccc-beispielthermometer-388x226.jpg\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Examples of electrical thermometers<\/p><\/div>\n    \n<h2>Product certification<\/h2>\n<p>A CCC product catalogue shows which products require appropriate certification. Explosion-protected resistance thermometers and thermocouples are listed in this catalogue, and therefore certification of these measuring instruments is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>After registering for certification, detailed application documents must be submitted to the Chinese approval authority. Laboratory tests of the products in China follow.<\/p>\n<h2>Factory inspection<\/h2>\n<p>The production facility must also undergo certification. This is carried out by means of a factory inspection by the certification authority (factory audit).<\/p>\n<h2>Period of validity<\/h2>\n<p>Permission to apply the CCC mark to the successfully certified product is valid for five years \u2013 but only if an annual refresher certification is carried out.<\/p>\n<h2>Successful testing and auditing at WIKA<\/h2>\n<p>Various resistance thermometers, thermocouples and also other products from WIKA are already CCC-certified. Likewise, many WIKA production sites have already successfully passed the audit.
