Les contraintes de cerceau qui sont g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par ce processus augmentent le rayon du tube en forme de c. Pour des pressions plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es, on utilisera des tubes manom\u00e9triques h\u00e9lico\u00efdaux ou de type spiral\u00e9. Selon la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie, les mat\u00e9riaux et leur \u00e9paisseur, il est possible de mesurer des pressions jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 7000 bar.
