\u00ab\u00a0L’agr\u00e9ment UL\u00a0\u00bb est un agr\u00e9ment produit important et bien connu. Le fait qu’il existe diff\u00e9rents agr\u00e9ments pour \u00ab\u00a0UL\u00a0\u00bb (\u00ab\u00a0Underwriters Laboratories\u00a0\u00bb) est toutefois moins connu. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Lorsque l’on parle en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u00ab\u00a0d’agr\u00e9ment UL\u00a0\u00bb, il s’agit dans la plupart des cas de \u00ab\u00a0l\u2019homologation UL\u00a0\u00bb. Toutefois, en plus de \u00ab\u00a0l\u2019homologation UL\u00a0\u00bb, l’agr\u00e9ment \u00ab\u00a0Composant reconnu UL\u00a0\u00bb peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre obtenu pour des produits sp\u00e9cifiques. En fonction de l’agr\u00e9ment requis pour un instrument, un marquage individuel est n\u00e9cessaire (voir figure).<\/p>\n

Mais o\u00f9 r\u00e9side la diff\u00e9rence entre les deux \u00ab\u00a0agr\u00e9ments UL\u00a0\u00bb ?<\/h2>\n

Les produits avec \u00ab\u00a0homologation UL\u00a0\u00bb correspondent \u00e0 un produit final (produit fini) ou \u00e0 un composant pour des installations sur le terrain. Ces produits ont \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9s en cons\u00e9quence et peuvent \u00eatre install\u00e9s en tenant compte des directives d’installation locales applicables, par exemple ANSI\/NFPA 70, \u00ab\u00a0National Electrical Code\u00a0\u00bb (NEC).<\/p>\n

Alors qu’un produit avec \u00ab\u00a0Composant reconnu UL\u00a0\u00bb n’est pas directement destin\u00e9 \u00e0 une installation exclusive ou directe sur le terrain. Au contraire, comme le nom de l’homologation l’indique, ces produits sont destin\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s comme composants d’un syst\u00e8me pour lequel une \u00ab\u00a0homologation UL\u00a0\u00bb doit \u00eatre obtenue. L’installation de ces composants est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement effectu\u00e9e en usine et non sur le terrain. Le produit (qui doit \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un composant au sens de \u00ab\u00a0l’agr\u00e9ment UL\u00a0\u00bb) a subi certains tests et \u00e9valuations pour le syst\u00e8me sp\u00e9cifique pendant l’agr\u00e9ment en tant que \u00ab\u00a0composant reconnu\u00a0 UL\u00a0\u00bb, ce qui simplifie \u00ab\u00a0l’homologation UL\u00a0\u00bb du syst\u00e8me complet.<\/p>\n

Le capteur de pression WIKA type R-1<\/a> pour l’industrie HVAC +R (chauffage, ventilation, climatisation et r\u00e9frig\u00e9ration) peut \u00eatre pris comme exemple. Pour ces instruments, un agr\u00e9ment<\/a> en tant que \u00ab\u00a0Composant reconnu UL\u00a0\u00bb pour l’industrie du froid \u00ab\u00a0Composant – R\u00e9gulateurs, R\u00e9frig\u00e9ration\u00a0\u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenu. Cela simplifie le travail des fabricants de syst\u00e8mes et d’installations de r\u00e9frig\u00e9ration pour l’obtention de \u00ab\u00a0l’homologation UL\u00a0\u00bb pour l’unit\u00e9 compl\u00e8te.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
