Bimetaalthermometers of met gas gevulde thermometer &#8211; de beslissing over het type thermometer alleen al hangt af van verschillende factoren. Een van de belangrijkste selectiecriteria is de reactietijd van het meetinstrument.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Als het gaat om snelheid, is de met gas gevulde thermometer het beste. Als vuistregel geldt dat deze thermometers ongeveer 30 seconden nodig hebben voor een temperatuurregeling van 10\u00b0C tot 90\u00b0C. Een bimetaalthermometer zou na 90 seconden dezelfde eindwaarde weergeven. Door hun korte reactietijden zijn met gas gevulde thermometers bijzonder geschikt voor integratie in de schakelbehoeften.<\/p>\n<p>Het verschil in snelheid wordt verklaard door de verschillende functionele principes van de twee thermometertypes &#8211; in tegenstelling tot de bimetaalthermometer (die het principe van verschillende uitzettingsco\u00ebffici\u00ebnten gebruikt) wordt het meetsysteem van een met gas gevulde thermometer gevuld met helium onder druk. Elke verandering in de temperatuur veroorzaakt een onmiddellijke verandering in de interne druk in de stang. Er moet rekening mee worden gehouden dat een dergelijke buis ook een zekere invloed zal hebben op de reactietijd van de thermometer.
