The peer-nominated award is presented to employees who go above and beyond in their roles, all while upholding WIKA\u2019s commitment to integrity, customer satisfaction, partnership, safety, continuous improvement, social responsibility, and excellence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Established when WIKA was founded in 1946, core values are the standards by which WIKA measures itself and its employees. Thanks to employees\u2019 commitment to these corporate values, WIKA has become a worldwide leader in industrial measurement technology. The company would not be where it is today without this dedication from within.<\/p>\n<p>Employees who do more than expected are vital to WIKA\u2019s overall mission of helping customers succeed through superior instrumentation solutions. This is why WIKA USA began the monthly Core Value Award program almost 20 years ago \u2013 to acknowledge employees for their hard work and dedication.<\/p>\n<h2>Corporate Core Values are Keys to Company Success<\/h2>\n<p>A peer-nominated program, Core Value Awards give employees a special way to thank their colleagues for doing extraordinary work. Recipients are recognized for making a positive impact on WIKA USA\u2019s continued success. Each nominee is chosen for exemplifying one of seven core values:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Integrity:\u00a0<\/strong>Promoting ethical business practices<\/li>\n<li><strong>Customer Satisfaction:\u00a0<\/strong>Creating positive customer experiences<\/li>\n<li><strong>Partnership:\u00a0<\/strong>Encouraging collaboration in the workplace<\/li>\n<li><strong>Safety:\u00a0<\/strong>Maintaining a safe work environment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Continuous Improvement:\u00a0<\/strong>Improving WIKA policies and processes<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social Responsibility:\u00a0<\/strong>Improving the community and the world at large<\/li>\n<li><strong>Excellence:\u00a0<\/strong>Exceeding expectations in work that directly impacts company success<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each month a committee composed of senior managers chooses the winners, who receive a plaque, monetary award, and a designated parking spot at the main WIKA USA campus in Lawrenceville, Georgia.<\/p>\n<h2>December 2018 Corporate Core Value Award Winners<\/h2>\n<p>The following four employees were chosen for exemplifying one of WIKA USA\u2019s corporate core values.<\/p>\n<p><em>Photo above: Judith Cudjoe and coworkers<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Judith Cudjoe, Manufacturing | Recognized for Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Judith&#8217;s nominator praises her for pitching in on projects outside her job description: &#8220;<span>Judith has always worked hard and is known for her\u00a0consistency. Lately she has gone the extra mile by doing water spider jobs for two addition lines. She has done great work. In addition, she leads all her teams well and gets the job done right. She gives you that comfortable feeling that it&#8217;s okay to ask her the same question a hundred times and still gives you that loving smile! She gives her customers the same exact treatment \u2013 her kind genuine best. Her nominator writes, &#8220;<\/span><span>The customer&#8217;s receiving supervisor called me to provide more details, and he took the time to mention that Marla has been extremely helpful. He said that she has gone above and beyond to assist him and is always pleasant.
