The peer-nominated award is presented to employees who go above and beyond in their roles, all while upholding WIKA\u2019s commitment to integrity, customer satisfaction, partnership, safety, continuous improvement, social responsibility, and excellence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Established when WIKA was founded in 1946, core values are the standards by which WIKA measures itself and its employees. Thanks to employees\u2019 commitment to these corporate values, WIKA has become a worldwide leader in industrial measurement technology. The company would not be where it is today without this dedication from within.<\/p>\n<p>Employees who do more than expected are vital to WIKA\u2019s overall mission of helping customers succeed through superior instrumentation solutions. This is why WIKA USA began the Core Value Award program two decades ago \u2013 to acknowledge employees for their hard work and dedication.<\/p>\n<h2>Corporate Core Values are Keys to Company Success<\/h2>\n<p>A peer-nominated program, Core Value Awards give employees a special way to thank their colleagues for doing extraordinary work. Recipients are recognized for making a positive impact on WIKA\u2019s continued success. Each nominee is chosen for exemplifying one of seven core values:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Integrity:\u00a0<\/strong>Promoting ethical business practices<\/li>\n<li><strong>Customer Satisfaction:\u00a0<\/strong>Creating positive customer experiences<\/li>\n<li><strong>Partnership:\u00a0<\/strong>Encouraging collaboration in the workplace<\/li>\n<li><strong>Safety:\u00a0<\/strong>Maintaining a safe work environment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Continuous Improvement:\u00a0<\/strong>Improving WIKA policies and processes<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social Responsibility:\u00a0<\/strong>Improving the community and the world at large<\/li>\n<li><strong>Excellence:\u00a0<\/strong>Exceeding expectations in work that directly impacts company success<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A committee composed of senior managers chooses the winners, who receive a plaque, monetary award, and a designated parking spot at the main WIKA USA campus in Lawrenceville, Georgia.<\/p>\n<h2>Corporate Core Values Award Winners: October 2020<\/h2>\n<p><span>WIKA USA recognizes these two employees for their dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i>Photo above: Eugene Gerth and coworkers<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Eugene Gerth, Maintenance, Pressure Gauge Division<\/strong><strong>\u00a0| Recognized for Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Peter Braun recognizes Eugene\u2019s ongoing commitment to doing more than what is required. \u201c<span class=\"s4\">Eugene had been tasked to organize and clean up the mezzanine above dial printing, and he did an excellent job!
