Thanks to employees\u2019 commitment to these corporate values, WIKA has become a worldwide leader in industrial measurement technology. The company would not be where it is today without this dedication from within.<\/p>\n<p>Employees who do more than expected are vital to WIKA\u2019s overall mission of helping customers succeed through superior instrumentation solutions. This is why WIKA USA began the Core Value Award program two decades ago: to acknowledge employees for their hard work and dedication.<\/p>\n<h2>Corporate Core Values are Keys to Company Success<\/h2>\n<p>A peer-nominated program, Core Value Awards give employees a special way to thank their colleagues for doing extraordinary work. Recipients are recognized for making a positive impact on WIKA\u2019s continued success. Each nominee is chosen for exemplifying one of seven core values:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Integrity:\u00a0<\/b>Promoting ethical business practices<\/li>\n<li><b>Customer Satisfaction:\u00a0<\/b>Creating positive customer experiences<\/li>\n<li><b>Partnership:\u00a0<\/b>Encouraging collaboration in the workplace<\/li>\n<li><b>Safety:\u00a0<\/b>Maintaining a safe work environment<\/li>\n<li><b>Continuous Improvement:\u00a0<\/b>Improving WIKA policies and processes<\/li>\n<li><b>Social Responsibility:\u00a0<\/b>Improving the community and the world at large<\/li>\n<li><b>Excellence:\u00a0<\/b>Exceeding expectations in work that directly impacts company success<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A committee composed of senior managers chooses the winners, who receive a plaque, monetary award, and \u2013 for those in the main WIKA USA campus in Lawrenceville \u2013 a designated parking spot.<\/p>\n<h2>Corporate Core Values Award Winners: July 2022<\/h2>\n<p>WIKA USA recognizes the following four employees for exemplifying one or more of the company\u2019s core values in June.<\/p>\n<p><em>Photo above: MaRanda Boddie and colleagues<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b>MaRanda Boddie, Human Resources | Lawrenceville | Recognized for Partnership<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Patrick McGrath gives a big shoutout to MaRanda for her collegiality and helpfulness. \u201cI have been working with MaRanda to fill various positions within Product Management. Her notes and comments on the candidates interviewed are clear and concise, and she keeps me up-to-speed on all progress and scheduling. On multiple occasions, she showed initiative and ownership in the recruitment of future candidates. She is a self-starter and is already recognized as a great individual to work with.\u201d Thank you, MaRanda, for all that you do to keep WIKA USA fully staffed!<\/p>\n<p><b>Genia Davis, Marketing | Lawrenceville | Recognized for Customer Satisfaction<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Dedicated employees like Genia make the difference between a positive and so-so customer experience. In his nomination, Michael Sherenian writes, \u201cGenia takes the extra initiative to ensure that our business partners are completely trained on the features and functions of the Customer Portal. When she receives a request for training, she reaches out immediately to set up and train. Nominators Lidia Dyrdol and Ge Vang write, \u201cThere have been multiple situations where Yenny has spotted an incorrect setup before printing the dials, and today she did it again. Everything with this one order seemed fine. However, when she reviewed the drawing, she noticed there was no indication of where to drill a stop pin hole. Spotting and getting this corrected at the beginning of the dial printing process is crucial in manufacturing, as we are the first step. Catching this error early prevented reworks for dial printing and the UHP (ultra-high purity) line, and saved us valuable time.\u201d Keep up the excellent work, Yenny!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\nThien \u201cAndy\u201d Nguyen, Manufacturing | Houston | Recognized for Excellence<\/b><\/p>\n\n      <div class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"max-width:396px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.wika.com\/us\/\/files\/2022\/10\/andy-july-core-value_resized.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.wika.com\/us\/\/files\/2022\/10\/andy-july-core-value_resized-388x289.jpg\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Thien \u201cAndy\u201d Nguyen and colleague<\/p><\/div>\n    \n<p>Versatility, teamwork, and know-how are valuable traits in employers, and Andy is one of those people who embodies those essential skills. Alberto Castillo praises Andy in his nomination: \u201cAndy does a great job filling in on the line, and he pays special attention to detail. He is always willing to help where needed and train others as needed.
