Thanks to employees\u2019 commitment to these corporate values, WIKA has become a worldwide leader in industrial measurement technology. The company would not be where it is today without this dedication from within.<\/p>\n<p>Employees who do more than expected are vital to WIKA\u2019s overall mission of helping customers succeed through superior instrumentation solutions. This is why WIKA USA began the Core Value Award program two decades ago: to acknowledge employees for their hard work and dedication.<\/p>\n<h2>Corporate Core Values are Keys to Company Success<\/h2>\n<p>A peer-nominated program, Core Value Awards give employees a special way to thank their colleagues for doing extraordinary work. Recipients are recognized for making a positive impact on WIKA\u2019s continued success. Each nominee is chosen for exemplifying one of seven core values:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Integrity:\u00a0<\/b>Promoting ethical business practices<\/li>\n<li><b>Customer Satisfaction:\u00a0<\/b>Creating positive customer experiences<\/li>\n<li><b>Partnership:\u00a0<\/b>Encouraging collaboration in the workplace<\/li>\n<li><b>Safety:\u00a0<\/b>Maintaining a safe work environment<\/li>\n<li><b>Continuous Improvement:\u00a0<\/b>Improving WIKA policies and processes<\/li>\n<li><b>Social Responsibility:\u00a0<\/b>Improving the community and the world at large<\/li>\n<li><b>Excellence:\u00a0<\/b>Exceeding expectations in work that directly impacts company success<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A committee composed of senior managers chooses the winners, who receive a plaque, monetary award, and \u2013 for those in the main WIKA USA campus in Lawrenceville \u2013 a designated parking spot.<\/p>\n<h2>Corporate Core Values Award Winners: August 2022<\/h2>\n<p>August was a banner month for recognizing exceptional teamwork and quality! WIKA USA recognizes the following 11 employees for exemplifying one or more of the company\u2019s core values that month.<\/p>\n<p><em>Photo above: Ephrem Beneberu and coworkers<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b>Ephrem Beneberu, Dial Design\u00a0| Lawrenceville | Recognized for Partnership<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The entire 2nd shift team for cell 1860 nominated Ephrem Beneberu, the final inspector for that dial room. \u201c<span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">He is so helpful to all the 2nd shift workers. No matter what you need, if you ask him, he will do his best to accommodate you. He doesn\u2019t care what your role is \u2013 he helps everyone. He does not mind sharing his knowledge regarding the dial room or any other thing that he may know about the company that will help you with your job. Ephrem has a very easy approach and takes everything with a good attitude. He helps out his team members and coworkers. With it not working, the dial room cannot load any jobs through the computer. Wells was extremely quick in responding to the IT ticket. And because it was not a WIKA computer, Wells had to try and figure out what was wrong. It took trial and error over half a day, but with his dedication and never-give-up attitude, he was able to get the PC back up and running. His actions saved us from losing production time and the trouble of having to contact the PC manufacturer, which could have taken weeks.\u201d Way to go, Wells! You are such an essential part of the entire company.<\/p>\n<p><b>Judy Fox, Purchasing | Worthington, Ohio | Recognized for Customer Satisfaction<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Jim Siebold appreciates all that Judy has done to improve the customer experience at WIKA Sensor Technology. \u201cJudy&#8217;s effort to improve the delivery of components, raw materials, and machined parts, through a coordinated effort with Planning, has allowed for improved backlog status and customer delivery.\u201d Nice work, Judy! Also, for going above and beyond during inventory to make sure inventory was counted correctly.\u201d<span>\u00a0We appreciate all that you do, Artemio!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Jerry Socks | Chambersburg, Penn. | Recognized for Partnership<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In her nomination, Melissa Weller recognizes Jerry, senior procurement advisor at WIKA Mobile Control, for his teamwork and organization. \u201cAn emergency came up while an employee was on vacation.<span>\u00a0<\/span>Jerry stepped up to ensure work orders were generated and given to the warehouse and production to keep work flowing.\u201d Thanks for all you do for customers and your coworkers, Jerry!<\/p>\n<p><b>Christopher Benjamins | Chambersburg, Penn. | Recognized for Customer Satisfaction<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Three employees \u2013 Jim Kunkle, Jason Miller, and Jason Dean \u2013 nominated Christopher, application engineer, for his outstanding customer service. \u201cChristopher has been eager to step in and investigate issues and do testing to support customers and the WIKA team, and he recently was instrumental in a\u00a0quality issue on a critical customer component. His detailed documentation of the issue has been a crucial tool when communicating with corporate headquarters. What\u2019s more, Christopher found two additional sensors of the same type in the rebuilt inventory, which no one else had discovered. He tested those two sensors and found they were operational. As no other sensors of this type were available, this find was an optional solution for the customer during their critical time of need.\u201d Way to go, Christopher!<\/p>\n<p><b>Jason Dean | Chambersburg, Penn. | Recognized for Excellence<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Sarah Nell praises Jason, sales engineer, for his energy, knowledge, and can-do spirit during a recent event. \u201cWIKA Mobile Control\u00a0was the silver sponsor of the ALH (Access, Lift &amp; Handlers) Conference, where we first launched our new telehandler system. We also committed to giving a presentation. But due to unforeseen circumstances, the employee who was scheduled to speak couldn\u2019t make it, and\u00a0we had a very short window to find a replacement.
