One example of that innovative mindset is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wika.com\/en-us\/ls_10.WIKA\" rel=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">LS-10<\/a>, a submersible pressure sensor for measuring and transmitting the liquid level of both enclosed vessels and open bodies of water. It was a successful product, he says, because the LS-10 meets all the market requirements of accuracy, robustness, ease of implementation, and quick turnaround time \u2013 all at a competitive price point.<\/p>\n<h2>Committed to Communication<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">If one word could sum up Rob\u2019s commitment to his work, it would be <em>communication<\/em>. For one, he loves speaking with customers \u2013 onsite, at trade shows, during phone calls \u2013 about their current needs and future wish list. The communication goes two ways. Not only is he a trusted advisor when it comes to selecting the right sensors for specific applications, but he has also <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.wika.com\/us\/author\/rlukat\/?perpage=20\">authored many articles<\/a> to educate industrial customers \u2013 as well as the greater public \u2013 on the basics (like <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.wika.com\/us\/knowhow\/nema-rating-and-ip-rating-explaining-the-difference\/\">NEMA rating vs. IP rating<\/a>) and various applications of electronic sensing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Secondly, as an electronic instrumentation specialist, Rob understands communication between sensors and controllers. How to enhance signal transmissions. How to send more data in less time. How to do it wirelessly. How to improve automation in Industrial IoT (IIoT) facilities.
