In 2024, the Hannover Messe trade show opened its doors under the motto “Industrial Transformation – Making the Difference”. Exhibiting here on two stands, WIKA lived up to this topic convincingly. This was also reflected by the leads generated, which were extremely satisfactory especially in terms of quality. As in the previous year, the trade show attracted a total of around 130,000 visitors.
On its 288 square metre trade show stand in Hall 11, WIKA showcased solutions relating to digitalisation, decarbonisation and sustainability. The active exhibits were a focal point for visitors. Among other things, they demonstrated IIoT motor monitoring (monitoring of the state of motor and shaft with ultrasound sensors) as well as innovative weighing technology. This involved a three-dimensional representation of the weighing process of both hanging loads and a silo filling. Highlights also included the presentation of miniaturised six-axis force and torque sensors from the WIKA joint venture Resense as well as the first sustainability report, which attracted a lot of attention. The second stand was part of the “Hydrogen” special show in Hall 13. There, WIKA exhibited its portfolio for H2 applications. The visitors response at this stand was overwhelming.
More digital content at the Hannover Messe 2024
Compared to the previous year 2023, WIKA’s trade fair presentation at the Hannover Messe 2024 was characterised by an increased proportion of digital content. This form of presentation not only has its finger very much on the pulse, it also provides visitors with additional information that extends beyond the scope of the product itself. To emphasise the importance of sustainability, WIKA also provided QR codes to download all of its brochures, instead of providing them in printed form. In keeping with the contemporary trade show appearance, the trade show outfit of the stand team was given a more modern look: white trainers, grey chino trousers, white shirt and blue vest with WIKA logo patch.
