WIKA Brazil has taken a significant step into the future with the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a new plant. The new building will create the necessary spatial conditions for the further development of the subsidiary.

At the future site in Boituva in the greater São Paulo area, WIKA Brazil will have an area of around 11,000 square metres at its disposal, 7,000 of which will be used for production. At the ceremonial start of construction, Ricardo Salgado Moura, Vice President Latin America and Head of WIKA Brazil, welcomed numerous guests, including the mayor of the city of Boituva. The employees of the subsidiary were also present and were invited to a special lunch.

The new plant in Boituva will not only provide WIKA Brazil with modern and future-oriented production facilities. In the coming years, the factory will also create additional jobs, which benefits the local population. WIKA’s commitment will help to promote the development of the region and strengthen its industrial infrastructure.
